Interior Décor Consult is a new business offering residential interior design services in a greater Indianapolis area and video consultations nationwide. While the business is new, I am not new to design. Throughout my life, I have been complimented on my sense of style, taste, and talent. Design has been one of my professional paths: from immersing in fashion and learning to sew as a teenager to starting a career in interior design years later. After earning a Certificate in Professional Interior Design, I worked in the field for a decade before pivoting to a different professional arena. Among my accomplishments was the publication of my design in the Window Fashions Design & Education Magazine. My projects often included one-of-a-kind furniture made by local craftsmen who collaborated on my designs. I developed and held interior decorating seminars for the public that received high accolades from the participants.

My other endeavors included a decade in interdisciplinary research and nonprofit organization management. I travelled extensively, especially to Northern Europe. All these experiences set me apart from a typical interior designer. My aesthetics were formed and refined by my multidimensional education that included a graduate degree in humanities, immersion in diverse cultures, and exposure to fine European art and architecture. My academic background enhances my ability to communicate with clients leading to a better understanding of their desires and needs. I assure that my clients are heard, understood, and receive the service they need.

After living for more than twenty years in Anchorage, Alaska, I am happy to call Fishers, Indiana home. Interior Décor Consult, my interior design business 2.0 is ready to inspire, create and bring more beauty to your life.
